Carestream Dental’s CS 3600 intraoral scanner is now validated for use with the 3M Incognito Appliance System.
The Incognito System offers customized lingual brackets, archwires and bonding trays, according to a press release, and requires accurate models to ensure the best results. The CS 3600 creates precise, detailed HD digital impressions, using a method that’s said to be easier than taking traditional PVS impressions.
The intraoral scanner’s fast, continuous scanning makes capturing dual arches quicker and easier, while the ergonomically designed, rounded autclavable and removable tips offer a more comfortable, hygienic scanning experience for patients.
Once impressions are acquired, CS Model software can be used to create HD 3D digital models.
Carestream Dental’s other intraoral scanner, the CS 3500, is also validated for use with the Incognito System.
