Carestream Dental recently released CS Boost, a software solution for Carestream Dental cloud users that gives doctors secure, fast access to appointments, patient search and clinical information through a Web app on traditional computing devices or via a native application on iOS and Android devices.
Through CS Boost dentists can easily access their schedules and filter them by provider as well as location, according to a press release. Appointment details can be accessed to view notes, alerts, provider and chair location. Doctors also can search by patient name to find contact information and clinical history.
Clinical Snapshot makes it easy to view contact information, appointment history, recent procedures and all clinical notes. Doctors using a smartphone to view Clinical Snapshot can contact a patient’s pharmacy or find the closest pharmacy in an emergency.
The app is HIPAA-compliant, with built-in audits and logs, and adheres to data viewing, storage and disposal.
CS Boost is available free to all CS PracticeWorks Cloud, CS OrthoTrac Cloud and CS WinOMS Cloud users. It can be found on Google Play and in the Apple App Store.
