Sulzer Mixpac, a business unit of Sulzer, recently released the MIXPAC T-Mixer Colibri, a helix mixing tip that features a bendable cannula and enables homogeneous, safe mixing of multi-component dental material.
The 360° rotatable and bendable cannula offers precise application of costly multi-component materials, according to a press release. The product was specifically designed for precision impression, root canal filling and cementation. It combines two of the company’s technologies—the reliability of the T-Mixer’s geometry and the advantages of the bendable Colibri. The tip allows for an ergonomic posture.
The helix mixing tip, which features advanced technology and a compact, short design, reportedly uses 40% less material than other tips. It is compatible with all 2.5-10 ml MIXPAC cartridges.
