Fotona Announces New, State-of-the-art Laser Training and Research Institute
DALLAS -- Fotona, based in the U.S. and Europe, announced the establishment and the grand opening of a new, state-of-the-art laser training and research Institute in Europe, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The opening of this advanced Institute and laser courses in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East demonstrate Fotona's worldwide commitment to providing customers with ongoing education and clinical training. The grand opening of the Fotona Institute was a two day event on November 7-8 and included lectures from renowned experts in the fields of dermatology and aesthetics, gynecology and dentistry, live patient treatments, workshops and an evening social event at the Academy of Science and Technology.
The new Institute is a state-of-the-art laser research, teaching, training and clinical facility. The Institute will play a key role in Fotona's mission to serve as a global platform for the exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge among the world's leading experts, and promote evidence-based laser medicine and dentistry among practitioners and the general public.
The facilities provide 500 m2 of workspace for educational & training activities, including multiple lecture rooms, a large lecture room for 90 participants, a laser room for live patient treatments, room for hands-on, ex-vivo trainings and state of the art audio and video and audio equipment.
Fotona's objectives for the new facility include:

• Connecting and coordinating international Fotona training centers
• Conducting advanced workshops and seminars
• Organizing meetings to exchange ideas and methodology in key treatment fields
• Improving treatment standards
• Improving treatment efficacy and efficiency
