 More Speakers Announced for Dental 3D University

The KaVo Kerr Group recently added more speakers to the Dental 3D University lineup. The educational event is set for Oct. 7 and 8 in Boston and will focus on how CBCT can enhance a dental practice.

Dr. Lou Shuman, President and CEO of Cellerant Consulting Group, will serve as the moderator during the two-day event, according to a press release.

He will speak from his perspective as a Venturer in Residence at Harvard’s Innovation Lab, covering Internet strategy, emerging technologies, e-learning and digital marketing.

Dr. Kevin AminZadeh, an international speaker and a key opinion leader in digital dentistry, implantology, and microscope enhanced dentistry, is the second addition to the speaker schedule. He founded Implant Genius, an implant treatment planning company, in 2015.

Other speakers already announced include Dr. Lou Graham on his journey to 3D; Dr. Gy Yatros on 3D airway analysis; Dr. Kaveh Ghaboussi, on using 3D for implant planning and more; Dr. Douglas Chenin on success with surgical guides; Dr. Terry Work on simple, predictable implant planning; Dr. Lisa Koenig on offering anatomy and pathology review; and Christine Taxin on medical billing and insurance reimbursement.

Dentists who attend Dental 3D University can earn up to 11 CE credits. KaVo Kerr Group imaging brands Gendex, NOMAD, SOREDEX and Instrumentarium are hosting the event. Other topics that will be addressed include 3D in endodontics, reading scans, real life case presentation and software training, and best practices to incorporate 3D into your practice to maximize the investment.
