New Dental Products: CamX Spectra Caries Detection Aid and CamX Elara Intraoral Camera from Air Techniques

Air Techniques recently introduced the CamX Spectra Caries Detection Aid and the CamX Elara intraoral camera.

Both new products are ergonomic and feature modern, sleek designs, according to a press release, and offer improved patient communication and caries diagnostics. They also make it possible to document and track patient hygiene or caries progress.

The sturdy, lightweight CamX cameras are designed to fit comfortably in any practitioner’s hand. The capture-upon-release feature makes it easy to take high-quality images. Both cameras also feature a tactile image capture configuration. A short vibration lets users know an image has been captured. Capture buttons are located on the top and bottom of the cameras, which also feature a motion sensor that automatically turns the cameras on and off.

The CamX Spectra caries detection aid uses florescence technology to help clinicians identify caries earlier, as well as plaque and calculus. The CamX Elara intraoral camera has eight white LEDs and is always in focus from 5-35 mm. This makes the camera easy to use, eliminating the need for further adjustments.
