Dentsply Sirona recently acquired MIS Implants Technologies, a privately held dental implant systems manufacturer headquartered in northern Israel.
MIS is positioned to address the value segment of the implant market locally and globally, according to a press release, and has a broad portfolio of implants and related products that target both the premium and value segments. The agreement opens up new growth opportunities for both parties, which also benefits customers and patients.
Dentsply Sirona has developed implant innovations for more than 30 years, and acquiring MIS will extend the company’s range to more market segments. MIS, which stands for Make It Simple, offers a variety of implants and prosthetic solutions as well as grafting materials and guided surgery solutions.
