Carestream Dental recently updated its Logicon Caries Detector Software, making it more efficient and easier to use.
Logicon v5.2 now features fewer icons, which helps doctors focus on diagnosing patients, according to a press release. More organized menus and simplified icons enhance Logicon’s diagnostic capabilities, while the new modern look and feel enhances diagnosis comfort.
Logicon v5.2 is reportedly the only commercially available FDA-approved computer aided radiographic caries diagnosis software. The tool helps dental practitioners find and treat interproximal caries at an early stage, enabling more minimally invasive treatment.
The company also recently launched The Exchange, a new online community. The Exchange offers a place for Carestream practice management software users to network and share knowledge, as well as ask questions of Carestream Dental subject matter experts and other community members.
The free resource currently focuses on CS SoftDent and CS OrthoTrac software, but there are plans to grow the community to encompass the full family of dental practice management software offerings and Carestream Dental products in the future.
