BIOLASE recently entered into a development and distribution agreement with IPG Medical, IPG Photonics Corporation’s medical laser division.
Through this partnership, the companies will collaborate in the design and development of new dental laser products, accessories, integral system components and applications, according to a press release. They’ll also work to improve existing dental laser applications.
BIOLASE will be responsible for U.S. and international registrations of all dental products resulting from the agreement. The company will have exclusive worldwide commercial distribution rights for certain products over a multi-year initial term after completion of development.
