This dual-wavelength soft tissue diode laser is the first of its kind, according to a press release, and is designed to make procedures faster, smoother and more efficient.
The dental laser combines the melanin absorption of the 810 nm wavelength with the water absorption of the 980 nm wavelength. The 20 watts of peak super-pulsed power enables the Gemini to provide faster, smoother cutting. Its sleek electroluminescent display features 19 preset procedures, while the tip of the autoclavable handpiece illuminates for enhanced visibility at the surgical site.
The laser also features a wireless foot pedal, and battery operation makes it easy to move the Gemini from operatory to operatory.
