The new iSy implant system from Camlog is designed to optimize implant treatment efficiency while making treatment planning easier.
The implant system, exclusively distributed by Henry Schein, enables practitioners to choose a digital, conventional or combined treatment workflow, according to a press release. It comes with the implant, a pre-mounted abutment, two multi-function caps (scan body, impression coping, temporary coping, bite registration aide), a protective cap and a final drill.
iSy (pronounced, ē'zē') is optimized for a digital workflow, while conventional and digital treatment workflows can be combined for a customized result. The system integrates seamlessly with every phase of the digital workflow, including treatment planning with CBCT, taking the intraoral digital impression, CAD/CAM abutment delivery, and the final crown, either during the first stage surgery or at a later phase after healing.
