The Programat S1 1600 sintering furnace from Ivoclar Vivadent has the ability to reach sintering temperatures up to 1600 degrees and features a new heating element designed for intensive everyday use. It is the newest member of the Programat furnace line.
These heating elements offer long service life and even heat emission, which is essential for optimal sintering results, according to a press release. The sintering furnace was designed in conjunction with Weiland Zenostar and IPS e.max ZirCAD materials and can sinter single crowns in 75 minutes. Users can quickly select from its pre-set programs or create their own.
The Programat S1 1600 is compact and weighs only 61.7 lbs. The user friendly furnace includes an optical operating status display that shows when the furnace is sintering. It also comes with a membrane-sealed keyboard, USB connection, in-lab calibration and a removable sintering furnace head.
