F.L.A.G. is a disclosing liquid formulated with fluorescein that affixes to dental plaque to make it fluorescent under a patented blue LED light that can be added to the NEWTRON SLIM B.LED handpiece, according to details on the company’s website. The liquid makes it simpler for a clinician to see the plaque and ensure it is removed during scaling. The liquid does not stain tartar, the gingiva, or the tongue.
