Offering improved charting, integrated HIPAA compliant communication, and reputation management, MacPractice DDS 5.1 is the latest update to this practice management software platform for Apple Mac computers.
Compatible with the latest versions of Apple’s OS X operating system, MacPractice DDS 5.1 works with MacPractice’s mobile apps for iPads and iPhones, according to a press release. The software allows patients to use an iPad or an online portal to enter their information, and all records and details can be reviewed with a patient on an iPad. Updated charting modules improve the perio and restorative charting processes as well as digital image management. The scheduling module has been improved as well.
Integrated faxing and HIPAA compliant digital messaging features are powered by Updox. Other online practice tools include automated patient reminders, and in-application collection services via a partnership with Transworld.
