Designed to help with the placement of highly esthetic temporary restorations, Bifix Temp, temporary cement from VOCO America is a dual-cure, composite-based material.
Available in a translucent Universal shade that blends in with temporary restorations, the temporary cement features a low film thickness for ideal fit, according to a press release. The material provides 90 seconds of working time and has a setting time of 4 minutes. Its light cure mode allows greater user control and easier removal of excess material.
Bifix Temp is delivered via an auto-mix syringe with short tips designed for precision application with reduced material waste.

Bifix Temp offers high esthetics with simple application that provides its users with visually pleasing results. The translucent and tooth-like Universal shade ideally blends with highly esthetic temporaries, does not shine through and promotes the natural appearance of the temporary restoration. Thanks to Bifix Temp’s low film thickness, temporaries can be cemented to fit perfectly without adjustment.
As a composite based dual cure material Bifix Temp offers 90 seconds of working time and sets in four minutes. The light cure mode offers the user control and easy removal of excess material via a “tack cure” technique that activates an initial elastic gel phase. Any unwanted residues are easy to locate and remove as Bifix Temp’s Universal shade stands out very well against the gingiva.
