With U.S. Federal Trade Commission approval, Zimmer Holdings completed a $14 billion acquisition of Biomet.
Following the purchase, the company will now operate under the name Zimmer Biomet Holdings, according to a press release. During the acquisition process, the two companies worked to merge the best of each operation.
