New Dental Product: iBond Universal Adhesive from Heraeus Kulzer

Making its debut during the 2015 International Dental Show, iBond Universal adhesive from Heraeus Kulzer is suited for a range of materials used for direct and indirect restorations.

Precise dosing is maintained via a newly designed dropper with “drop control”, and as the name iBond Universal indicates, the light curing adhesive is well suited to all bonding techniques and all indications, according to details on the company’s website.

The adhesive is designed to provide optimal dentin penetration and instant bonding. Compatible with composites, precious and non-precious metals, zirconia, and glass ceramics, iBond Universal can be used with light-, self-, and dual-cure materials without the need for a dual-cure activator. It can be used with self-, total- and selective-etch techniques as well.
