Designed to be a highly efficient and convenient ceramic furnace, the Programat P710 from Ivoclar Vivadent features Digital Shade Assistant (DSA) technology.
A patented feature, the DSA allows furnace users to get a reading on the exact tooth shade of the restoration being produced. The system begins with photos of the teeth and the selected shades for the restoration. These are loaded into the furnace where they are analyzed and the furnace displays the best shade match, according to a press release.
The furnace is designed with integrated infrared technology that helps ensure process reliability and enhances the speed of material processing. The technology allows 20 percent faster processing times by using the infrared system to calculate the optimal pre-drying and closing parameters for each firing cycle.
An additional feature of the Programat P710 is integrated telephone capabilities that allow a phone to connect to the furnace via Bluetooth technology where the furnace screen can display the contact list and the system can be used to make hands-free calls.
