3D printed models are now available via Digital Technology Solutions, the digital outsource service for dental labs from Whip Mix.
The printed models are fabricated from VisiJet Pearlstone material which provides a durable, detailed model which looks like standard dental stone models, according to a press release. The material can be ground like a stone model, and wax will stick to it for standard model-based restoration design in the lab.
The 3D printed models are created based on submitted .stl files with a 2-3 day turnaround time. They are available in full arch, quadrant and fit check configurations in white, blue or ivory color.
