Designed to work with a range of sensors, phosphor plates or film, the ProVecta HD Intraoral X-ray System from Air Techniques features a 0.4 mm focal point for optimal image sharpness with ideal contrast and edge definition.
The x-ray generator allows for adjustable mA, kV and exposure times, and there is an optional rectangular radiation collimator to help reduce unwanted radiation exposure. The ProVecta HD uses DC technology for constant radiation levels that reduce patient radiation exposure by more than 25% compared with AC x-ray generators, according to a press release.
Designed to save space in the operatory, the ProVecta HD is available with three extended arm lengths of 68, 74 and 86 inches. The head handle makes precise positioning simple, and the control panel is easy to use with user-friendly icons for selecting the area being imaged. The generator is compatible with wired sensors, phosphor plate sensors and film.
