Designed based on feedback from customers, the EPIC X diode laser from BIOLASE improves on the company’s successful EPIC 10 diode laser.
With new software and an improved cordless foot pedal, the EPIC X is a powerful diode laser capable of soft tissue, hygiene, whitening and pain therapy applications, according to a press release. The laser is designed to be even more portable than its predecessor, and with pre-initiated tips and faster start up times, it is ready to increase practice efficiency. A Reliability Assurance Plan guarantees a replacement laser within 24 hours if something goes wrong with the unit.
The EPIC X is now available in the United States with plans for a future global launch in the works.
