AD Surgical Announces the Release of EZ Stent® Multiple Teeth Set, the Easiest Way to Fabricate a Surgical Guide for Multiple Implant Placements
An innovative product allows quick fabrication of an accurate surgical template for multiple implant placements using scissors and hot water alone.
Sunnyvale, Calif. — Today AD Surgical announces the release of EZ Stent Multiple Teeth Set, an innovative product that allows fabrication of an accurate surgical template in minutes using a scissor and hot water alone. Simply secure the included guide pins in the patient’s model to get ideal drilling trajectories, then cut and join the thermoplastic bases in hot water and mold it closely to the adjacent teeth of the edentulous ridges. As it cools, EZ Stent hardens into a strong and retentive surgical template for multiple implant placements. EZ Stent has received numerous United States and International patents, and is the Gold Winner of the prestigious Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA) of 2007.

The thermoplastic bases of the Multiple Teeth Set are marked with cutting grooves in 5mm intervals, and can be cut and joined to create an extended guide using a scissor and hot water alone. The titanium drill sleeve (inner Ø2.3mm) has a reduced height of 6mm to accommodate patients with limited intraoral access. Each set contains 5 thermoplastic templates (3 Tooth-Bound and 2 Free-End) with all laboratory accessories included.
Currently, EZ Stent is offered in three versions: the Single Tooth Set for a tooth-bound region, the Free End Set for the most distal region, and the Multiple Teeth Set for multiple regions or for patients with limited opening. All three versions of the EZ Stent are compatible with the pilot drill of most dental implant systems.
