LoupeCam® by VizVOCUS now Mac Compatible
Introducing the first Mac-friendly HD LoupeCam® for Surgeons & Dentists
Scottsdale, Ariz. - VizVOCUS inc. is pleased to introduce the first HD LoupeCam® compatible with Mac software. After specializing in the PC-friendly version of this software for over ten years, VizVOCUS responded to the needs of their growing marketplace of doctors, surgeons, and educators alike with this new Mac software.
VizVOCUS CEO Paule Delaney explained, “The demand for such a specialty product has been rapidly growing. However, when it comes to video, the Mac platform remains the ultimate reference. The demand is such that we have a wait-list of dentists and surgeons for a Mac-compatible HD LoupeCam®. We had to bridge that gap fast.”
Since releasing the first HD camera with mounting abilities to any surgical or dental loupes (2012), VizVOCUS has continued to make headway at the forefront of medical technology, including the cutting-edge options available with this release.
The new HD LoupeCam® offers full HD recording (1280 x 720 resolution) along with a 3.0 Megapixels Sensor and Image Ratio of 16:9. Including a new, well-integrated LED light for easy alignment, increased depth of field, and better focus, in addition to the USB Footpedal, they work together to provide the ultimate hands-free experience for doctors who understand the benefits of uninterrupted tasks.
With the new addition of Mac-friendly software, this product is fully accessible. VizVOCUS is also developing apps for Android and Google Glass, staying at the forefront of innovation. The product is designed for cross-specialty doctors who have needs in education, video recording, taking still images, and visualization.
