The Dental Geek Blog Gets Complete Upgrade and Redesign
Re-launched website now features video content, monthly giveaways and
real-time reporting.
West Long Branch, N.J. – Lanmark360, a full-service healthcare marketing agency that’s been closely ingrained within the dental industry for almost 40 years, recently overhauled one of their blogs, The Dental Geek, to include a brand new design, user-friendly navigation and all-new features.
Originally launched in 2010, The Dental Geek serves as a platform for discussions about the latest dental industry trends, news and events. What’s unique about The Dental Geek is that the blog invites anyone with a passion for dentistry to share their opinions and submit guest posts. Article submissions are welcome from any and all team members including dentists, dental assistants, dental marketers, dental hygienists, dental office managers and more.
The Dental Geek soft-launched the newly designed site to align with the 149th Chicago Midwinter Meeting. During the popular industry tradeshow, The Dental Geek crew reported in real-time from the exhibit floor interviewing key opinion leaders and show attendees and highlighting new products on display. Right from Chicago, The Dental Geek featured highlights from the 24Th Annual Oral Health America Gala as well as recap videos from day one and day two of the show.
The Dental Geek’s new features include everything from exclusive video interviews to monthly Geeky Giveaways and a Student Perspective Series in partnership with the American Student Dental Association.
Lanmark360’s Chief Strategy Officer, Managing Partner and “Chief Dental Geek” Michael McCarthy was the vision behind the blog. “I came to work every day and saw dental geeks in all of us. At the time, we were working on marketing the latest in dental technology, innovations in oral cancer screening and new research about the oral-systemic link. It never felt like work though. It became our passion,” explains McCarthy. “I thought, we need a creative outlet to express our inner ‘dental-geekiness’. Therein lies the birth of The Dental Geek blog!”
“I’m proud to see how far this blog has come and never imagined it’d get the level of site traffic it does each day. It was only a matter of time until we knew we had to step it up a notch and present a revamped site that’s better than ever,” says McCarthy.
