An agreement between Straumann and botiss will combine the resources of the two companies for a global approach to the dental regenerative products market.
Under the agreement, Straumann will have the rights to distribute botiss regenerative products in Western and Central Europe as well as the Americas, while botiss will have the same rights to distribute Straumann’s Emdogain in Germany and part of Eastern Europe and the Middle East, according to a press release. The deal also allows Straumann to purchase up to 30% of botiss in 2017.
A German company, botiss is Europe’s second largest supplier of oral tissue regeneration products including graft materials for bone and soft tissues.
