DUX Dental ZONEfree Temporary Dental Cement Now Available in Unit Dose Pouches
Oxnard, Calif. – DUX Dental announced today that it has added a unit dose option to its popular ZONEfree line of temporary cements.
“More and more dental offices are choosing single use or unit dose products to allow for optimal asepsis. ZONEfree unit dose pouches fill that need while delivering the same exquisite results that ZONEfree temporary dental cement has become known for,” said Stacey Williams, Director of Sales and Marketing, DUX Dental. Practitioners can also use the unit dose pouch for provisionalized patients traveling or away from the dental office for an extended period of time.
ZONEfree contains prismatic color blending nanofillers that act like tiny beads of glass to reflect the color of any adjacent surface. Its unique formulation combines the esthetic benefits of reflective nanofillers and translucency, creating a natural look that blends with the color of the patient’s own teeth, crowns or other surfaces around it. In addition to the unit dose pouches, ZONEfree is available in a 4-gram automix syringe and a 15-gram dual-barrel syringe.
ZONEfree is the only zinc oxide non-eugenol cosmetic cement that is translucent. Yet, when ZONEfree is dispensed and applied the cement has a pearly white appearance, giving it enough color to allow the dentist or assistant to place it precisely, and see excess cement during clean up and removal to avoid resin build-up. ZONEfree sets in two minutes and self cures. There is no need for a curing light.
The manufacturer’s product number for ZONEfree Unit Dose is #27029. The product will be available from most major dental distributors on May 1, 2014 for the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price of $29.50 per box of 25 pouches.
