The design of the system aims to offer clinicians a robust but user friendly implant system that includes everything needed to plan, place and restore a dental implant case, according to a press release. The system features implants designed for stability based on the Astra Tech Implant System Biomanagement Complex which includes implant features such as OsseoSpeed surface, MicroThread, Conical Seal Design and Connective Contour.
The new ASTRA TECH Implant System EV offers clinicians a versatile implant assortment, flexible drill protocols, a single surgical tray with three interchangeable overlays and color coding, an abutment interface with a one-position-only placement for ATLANTIS patient-specific abutments, self-guided impression components, and a single torque for the entire system. Additionally, the system is compatible with SIMPLANT guided surgery.
