Dentists in the United States will soon have a new dental implant option as Neodent, the leading dental implant company in Latin America, will launch its products in the United States at the 2014 Academy of Osseointegration meeting.
The Brazilian company was founded in 1993, and for the past 20 years Neodent has continued to expand with the company’s implants currently available in Latin America, South America and southern Europe, according to a press release. The company will launch U.S. sales with a direct sales force located around the country and headquarters in Andover, Mass.
Neodent’s focus has been on making dental implants that are affordable to dentists and patients. The company has attracted investment from the industry with Straumann purchasing a 49% stake in the company in 2012.
