Built on 3Shape’s dental lab scanning platform, the D900L 3D dental lab scanner features an expanded space suitable for scanning larger dental models.
Featuring a quartet of 5 MP cameras and advanced processing algorithms, the scanner is capable of rapidly capturing accurate information including color details, according to a press release. The expanded interior is large enough to scan mounted models, large impression trays and models with attached articulators.
Enhanced software provides automatic occlusion calculations after a scan of the upper and lower models, saving the time by eliminating the need to scan the bite. This makes it easier to transfer precise articulator positions from a physical to a digital model.
