DenMat recently announced that it acquired the dental assets of Zila, Inc., and these products will be integrated into DenMat’s existing product portfolio.
With Zila’s products focused on soft tissue and hygiene areas of care, DenMat plans to make them a part of the company’s comprehensive enhanced oral hygiene and soft-tissue management product lines, according to a press release. These products include the Rotadent power tooth brush, Atridox antibiotic for periodontal treatment, ProDenRx soft-tissue products and the NV cordless diode laser.
Zila’s sales, marketing, R&D and manufacturing efforts will be moving to DenMat’s Lompoc, Calif. headquarters later this year. The addition of Zila’s product lines continues DenMat’s recent expansion via the acquisition of a range of dental products and materials.
