New Dental Product: COMPONEER CLASS V from Coltène Whaledent

Based on the company’s COMPONEER direct composite veneers, Coltène Whaledent has launched COMPONEER CLASS V veneers designed for treatment of class V lesions.

Formulated from a nano-hybrid composite material, COMPONEER CLASS V veneers are anatomically shaped to restore lesions at the base of a tooth, according to details on the company’s website. A positioning guide is designed to make application simple, and steady pressure applied to via the cervical shell enhances wetting between the tooth and the composite.

The COMPONEER CLASS V shells are designed to provide a cover for placement of the filling material, as well as optimal marginal adaptation. The 0.3 – 0.5 mm thick veneers are available in four sizes and five shades to provide abrasion resistant, long-lasting esthetic outcomes.
