Featuring a direct LED light source, the Torch LED operatory light from Flight Dental Systems is designed to provide bright illumination without excess heat production.
The Torch LED features a powder coated casing and the styling is inspired by European design philosophies, according to a press release. The new light will replace the company’s A-Series Round Halogen light which is often included as a part of the A2 and A10 operatory packages.
Special pricing on the new light will be available through the 3rd quarter of 2013, making the light available at the same price as the A-Series halogen light when purchased as a part of an operatory package.

Flight Dental Systems Introduces the New Torch LED Light
Brampton, Ontario – Flight Dental Systems is proud to introduce a new line of LED lights which will replace the existing A-Series Round Halogen Lights. LED light technology is the future of dental lighting and as such we have decided to upgrade our halogen light typically found on the A2 and A10 Operatory packages to the new LED Torch. The new Torch LED light uses a direct LED light source, providing bright illumination and no heat production. The design of the light is smooth and the attention to detail from the handles to the powder coated casing is all inspired by a European design philosophy. Further specifications and features of the light are available below.
The Flight Torch LED light will be available beginning June 1st, 2013. All A2 and A10 packages will be equipped with the Torch LED light as a standard option when purchasing with a light. Spare parts for the A-Series Halogen Light will still be available.
Pricing for the new Torch LED light is available immediately; please contact your local sales representative for pricing. When purchasing the Torch LED in a package the pricing will remaining the same as the A-Series Halogen light, Flight will be running a special promotion for Q3 by offering the Torch LED light at the same price as the A-Series Halogen Light when purchased as part of a package. If purchased independently as a unit mount or ceiling mount the new pricing of the light will apply.
