In a brief post to the DentalEZ blog, the company announced the launch of an upgraded version of the Identafi Oral Cancer Screening Device sold under the StarDental brand.
The next generation of the Identafi system operates with a 25% more intense violet light, which makes it easier for clinicians to note suspicious lesions when the system is used in well lit operatories, according to the blog post.
Additionally, the selector switch has been improved to incorporate an on/off mechanism to make operating the device a smoother process.
