 OSAP Announces Dr. Harold Jaffe as Keynote Speaker for 2013 Symposium

The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention recently announced that Dr. Harold Jaffe, associate director for science at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will be the keynote speaker and deliver the Dr. John S. Zapp Memorial Lecture at the organization’s 2013 Symposium in San Diego this June.

Dr. Jaffe, a global expert on HIV/AIDS will present an address titled “The Early AIDS Epidemic in the United States: Views from Hollywood and Atlanta” during the event which will take place June 13-15. The theme of the 2013 Symposium will be Charting a Course for Infection Prevention and Safety,

The event is aimed at healthcare educators, consultantS, risk management professionals and others who work in the infection control arena. It is designed to present cutting-edge information, skill-building sessions and opportunities to learn, share and grow, according to a press release from OSAP.
