Darby Dental Supply Steps Up With $5,000 Pledge to Push Shave the Shore Campaign Beyond its Original Goal

Darby Dental Supply Steps Up With $5,000 Pledge to Push Shave the Shore Campaign Beyond its Original Goal

Two weeks after Lanmark360 President Howard Klein pledged not to shave until he raised $10,000 to help Hurricane Sandy victims along the Jersey Shore, Darby Dental Supply put forth a pledge to donate $5,000 to his Shave the Shore campaign if the campaign goes beyond the original plans and raises $15,000.

The Shave the Shore campaign has already raised close to $9,000, and Klein was happy to let his beard continue to grow a bit longer to raise the $15,000 so Darby’s donation can push the total to $20,000 for the hurricane’s victims. All of the money raised by the campaign will be donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts.

“The response and support we have received for the Shave the Shore campaign thus far has been nothing short of remarkable,” Klein said in a press release. “We are almost at our original goal of $10,000, and with Darby’s proposed challenge, we’re now aiming for double that amount. The Darby crew has given us that extra support, generosity and motivation to keep ‘growing!’ I’m not surprised to see Darby Dental Supply step up and lead by example once again.”
