Designed to provide clinicians and patients with a low-cost, esthetic alternative to custom, laboratory-fabricated veneers, the recently launched Edelweiss system from Ultradent Products is a system of pre-fabricated, laser sintered composite veneers.
The Edelweiss veneers are manufactured to provide a high-gloss, uniform surface with a thermally tempered base, which makes them harder and more scratch and wear resistant than other composite veneers, according to a press release from Ultradent. The veneers are available in assorted sizes allowing clinicians to place them with minimal adaptation or preparation for a finished smile makeover in just one appointment.
