3Shape's new CAD Points program will allow midsized and small dental laboratories to provide dentists with digital workflows for a wider range of indications without the labs having to invest in the full cost of the expanded software modules required for the services.
The CAD Points program allows Pay-Per-Design access to add on modules for 3Shape’s Dental System CAD software such as customized abutments, implant bars and bridges, and removable partial dentures, according to a press release from 3Shape.
Dental labs can purchase CAD Points through 3Shape’s Webshop or through their 3Shape reselling partner. The Points can then be used to pay for one-time access to the advanced software modules, meaning labs can test out new services, new business models or complete specialized cases on an as needed basis.
