The Experience Gendex Bus wrapped up its yearlong odyssey with a surprise visit to Oakwood Dental in Bucyrus, Ohio. The family practice run by Drs. Michelle and Attila Nagy was the winner of a Gendex GXDP-700S panoramic/3D imaging system.
The give-away was one of the many promotional aspects of the bus tour which kicked off in August 2011, and logged more than 51,000 miles during a journey that touched both the east and west coasts and from Canada to Florida.
More than 6,000 visitors have hopped on the bus during the tour to get a firsthand look at Gendex’s portfolio of intraoral and extraoral imaging products. The mobile showroom included an extraoralsection — featuring the Gendex GXDP-700™ Series and GXDP-300™; an intraoral operatory—comprised of the 2011 Pride Institute award-winning GXS-700™ digital sensors, several GXC-300™cameras, an expert® DC intraoral x-ray, VixWin™ Platinum imaging software, the GXPS-500™PSP, plus a Pelton & Crane® dental chair with KaVo® handpieces; and an area devoted to online communications. The journey was documented online with regular blog posts and pictures from the many stops made a local dental offices, as well as industry tradeshows.
