Crown and Bridge Alloys

Dental crown and bridge alloys are used for casting full contour crowns and bridges. These alloys are generally created from noble and high noble metals with gold colored crowns the most popular. Different alloys are designed with different levels of hardness with softer alloys better suited for smaller restorations such as inlays and onlays, while harder alloys are better suited for crowns and bridges. Casting with crown and bridge alloys requires specific techniques with different alloys melting at different temperatures, so be sure to follow the protocols that deliver the best results for your lab.
