Investment Materials

Dental investment materials are used to encase the wax designed for the lost wax casting technique. These materials are usually available as a powder that is mixed with water and then used to encase the wax design. These materials solidify and can withstand the heat of the casting furnace to hold the precise shape left behind when the wax is burned out. Different gypsums are designed for use with different dental alloys or other materials, so be sure to select the proper gypsum for the case at hand.

DescriptionFASTFIRE 15 is a fine grain phosphate investment which requires only a 15 minute benchset before placing molds into a hot oven for rapid burnout. It The proven standard for the Hygroscopic Technique. Also excellent for the High Heat Technique. This high-performance, universal investment works equally well for all alloys and pressable ceramics. Its wide expansion range allows the technician A special investment for non-precious and semi-precious alloys. HI-TEMP contains no carbon. Non-precious metal alloys require an investment specially One of the most useful and efficient laboratory materials available today, V.H.T. is an extremely fine-grained phosphate investment with an ample
