Investment Materials

Dental investment materials are used to encase the wax designed for the lost wax casting technique. These materials are usually available as a powder that is mixed with water and then used to encase the wax design. These materials solidify and can withstand the heat of the casting furnace to hold the precise shape left behind when the wax is burned out. Different gypsums are designed for use with different dental alloys or other materials, so be sure to select the proper gypsum for the case at hand.

DescriptionThe proven standard for the Hygroscopic Technique. Also excellent for the High Heat Technique.PC15 is a fine grained phosphate bonded investment for pressable ceramics. Its creamy consistency pours easily when investing and produces smooth POLYVEST Refractory Die Material is formulated with a coefficient of thermal expansion to closely match today's newer porcelains. With its controlled Designed for burning out printed or milled resin patterns for crowns, bridges, or frameworks, ResinVest is a fiber-reinforced material that resists A vastly improved casting investment for making chrome partial denture frameworks. For casting any chrome partial alloy. Refractory Cast is hard,
