G-CEM Self Adhesive Cement from GC America Inc.

G-Cem combines the technologies resin adhesives with the properties of hydrophilic, biocompatible resin-modified glass ionomer cements. The cement contain water and functional monomers (4-MET and Phosphoric ester) for self-adhesive properties, rather than polyalkenoate acid. As a result, G-Cem's hydrophilicity allows penetration into the dentinal tubule. After penetration, G-Cem sets tightly and becomes hydrophobic.
