The Triad 2000 VLC Light Curing Unit is intended for the curing of: Triad Material, Triad Material to already-cured Triad Material, or Triad Material to previously fabricated acrylic prostheses.Because heat is generated as part of the cure process, some thermoplastic materials may soften and distort. Care should be exercised in dealing with combinations of metal and plastic, relines of lower partial dentures and thermoplastic denture base materials. Distortion can be avoided by dividing the total cure time into interrupted segments to allow cooling.
