Intraoral Camera Pays for itself on Day One

I had heard that an intraoral camera was a very good tool for educating patients, but the high price tag always kept me from getting one. A dentist friend told me he was happy with an inexpensive intraoral camera he just bought. I was pleasantly surprised that the quality of the images is fine for educating patients , documenting lesions or communicating with insurance companies. I showed a patient their old composites and they had me change those old things right away. It paid for itself with that first patient and continues to increase patient acceptance every day.
