Dr. Goldstein is a 1977 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He completed post-graduate training in general dentistry at Yale University's general practice residency program affiliated with Waterbury Hospital in 1978. After completing
his residency and entering private practice, he served as an attending clinician at the University of Connecticut's School of Dental Medicine's undergraduate teaching program as well as an attending clinician at Connecticut Valley State Hospital's dental residency program.
Dr. Goldstein has maintained a private practice for twenty-five years and is currently a principal at Dental Health Associates PC in Wolcott, CT, a three-doctor group practice. Dr. Goldstein is a member of the Dental Society of Greater Waterbury as well as the CSDA, ADA and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Goldstein's marriage of his digital photography habit and his love for cosmetic dentistry, as well as his ability to write about it in a friendly, conversational tone, have earned him a post as a frequent Contributing Editor for Dentistry Today. In addition, Dr. Goldstein is often featured in Contemporary Esthetics and Restorative Practice and Compendium as well as Dental Town and Parkell Today. His articles have also been reprinted in Great Britain and Canada.
In April of 2002, Dr. Goldstein began the Comfort Zone Cosmetics seminar series in concert with Smile Vision Inc., a cosmetic imaging and dental laboratory concern. Its mission is to relieve dental professionals of the anxieties often associated with anterior dentistry. Other seminar topics delivered throughout the course of 2003-2004 include: Digital Photography in your Dental Practice: The Whys, The How's and the Wherefore's and Fracture Therapy, The Mother-lode Already in your Practice, which emphasizes the use of magnification to expand one's diagnostic capability and treatment zones.
